We work to provide preventative and holistic wellness where cost is not a barrier to access. When able, we ask people to donate the market rate of $15 per class. When that’s not possible, you’re still welcome here. No questions asked.

Community Yoga Program

We bring trauma-informed mindfulness and movement programming to social service agencies, community organizations, and schools. Sometimes the aim is to nurture staff who are burnt out from care-taking. Other times we work with clients or students who’ve been dealt a rough hand. In any case, we’re bringing practices that focus on internal dialogue, regulation techniques, and body care to relieve built up stress and trauma.

Community Doula Program & Birth Education

A doula is a non-medical professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support for a birthing parent throughout their journey, from pregnancy to postpartum. Doulas increase the likelihood of positive birth experiences and outcomes. We provide resources, knowledge, and guidance to help individuals navigate their birthing journey with confidence and autonomy, all at a pay-what-you-can rate.

Scholarships

Soulside embraces the benefits of having a diverse team, and recognizes the structural barriers in place that have led to a majority of yoga teachers to be white females. We created a scholarship fund to support people of color through a local yoga teacher training program. We provide scholarship recipients with support funds throughout the 9 month program to help make up any lost earnings from jobs they can’t work during teacher training hours, or pay for necessary childcare.
