The Board of Directors assists as needed with propelling fundraising and advertising efforts, planning and executing events, and developing and executing strategic goals. Board members attend monthly meetings, and may take on special projects based on their skillsets and interests.

We are currently seeking a Board Treasurer.

Board Treasurer Responsibilities:

• Advise Executive Director on proper recording and classification of transactions in financial ledger system.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and present financial analysis to board.

• Assist in audits of organization’s funds. 

• Assist in filing and reporting as required by the state of Illinois.

• Chair the Finance Committee.
